VBS is just around the corner, July 18- 22. We are so excited about this year’s VBS. We will be stepping back in time to Hometown Nazareth, where Jesus was a boy. We have a marketplace where kids can make crafts, such as dying wool, wood crafting or “purchase” foods like dates and nuts. Every day we will visit Mary’s house and hear stories of Jesus childhood. There will great music and fun games. I hope you can join us. We are still looking for volunteers. We need tribe leaders (each group of kids or tribe is named after 1 of the tribes of Israel). We need people to help set up the set ahead of time and to help us break down afterwards. And of course we need donations of items (be sure to put your name on the items so we can get them back to you.) Donations needed: EZ-up tents All size pillows (for floor seats) Old pillowcases to make vests Large barnyard animals i.e., cows, goats, chickens, etc. (The animals can be of almost any material wood, plastic or stuffed).
