Music is a vital dimension of worship at Gulf Beach Presbyterian Church. Our Music Director, Dr. Larry Tyson, strives with the pastor to develop a common theme, including the music for each worship celebration. It is the goal of the music ministry to nurture the congregation individually and collectively in its relationship to God. In spite of the fact that our choir varies greatly in size depending on the season, it sings beautifully three times in our worship services. At times small groups or soloists may present the Gift of Music.

To further our music ministry, in the winter of 1992 our church began a new program called "Gulf Beach Presbyterian Church Sponsors the Arts". Concerts, 10 or more, appealing to a wide variety of musical tastes and featuring many different musicians are held each Sunday evening to a packed house. Visual Artists are also invited to show their work. This program runs from January through February.
