Adult Sunday School

Sunday school is at 8:00am in a room in the Preschool wing.  Everyone is invited to attend.

 

Fun Friday will be on September 22.

We will go to the Panama City Center for the Arts. Meet at the church at 11:00 am. There are currently 2 exhibits. One is a photography exhibit with over 80 photographers submitting photos. The other is art by Dianne Leach. Following our visit to the exhibits, we will go to the The Place for Lunch.

 

Foodies are moving back to Tuesday- September 19th

We will go to Back Beach Barbeque.

We meet at the restaurant at 5:00. We had a great time at Paparazzi’s in August. Come join us for fun, food and fellowship.

 

Spaghetti Dinner- Sunday, September 24th- After Worship

The Church will provide a Spaghetti Dinner and we ask you to bring a dessert for us to Auction off.  We are raising money for the Breast Cancer Foundation.  Wear your favorite Football Team Jersey/T-Shirt.  Dessert will be for sale to raise money for our Breast Cancer Walk.

 

Breakfast Point- For September we will collect hand sanitizer for the students at Breakfast Point Academy. There is a red box in the narthex for your donations. The teachers said to be sure to extend their thanks for the school supplies that were donated in August.

 

The Breast Cancer walk is Saturday October 28.

 You can sign up to walk or participate by donating directly or enjoying our fundraising efforts. In September, during the pot luck, you can

donate a dessert. We will sell the desserts to raise money. If you are a baker, please plan to bring something special to share.

 

Food Pantry-Thanksgiving Baskets

We are now beginning to collect items for our Thanksgiving baskets.

Here is a list of items we need:

 

Canned Cranberry Sauce

Canned Chicken Broth

Gravy

Dried Potatoes

Boxed stuffing

Canned Green beans

Canned Corn

Please place your donations in the box in the narthex.  Thank you.  As always, monetary donations are welcomed.  Write for Food pantry on your envelope.

 

We still need items for the pantry itself.  Please donate peanut butter and canned chicken.  Thank you, because of your profound love and generosity we are able to show the love of Christ in our community through our Food Pantry.

Special Offering: Peace and Global Witness

We are the church together.  We will collect this special offering on Sunday October 1st.
